Browser Versions

This website is compatible with :

  • Netscape Navigator 4.0+
  • Internet Explorer 4.0+

Accessibility

An accessible web site is one that is available to people with disabilities.

For people with disabilities, this requires that the web site works with 'assistive' technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers and pointers, and is available to people with certain disabilities, such as poor vision or motor difficulties (unable to use a mouse).

Web Site Search

Search options are:

  • Sitemap (located in footer of every page)
  • Search (located top right of every page)

The search facility is available on all pages of the website. The search is, in the first instance, always a keyword or "meta data" search. This search will look at all of the keywords entered (Boolean "and"). All matches will be displayed with the navigation string to the page containing the information. The name of the relevant page with the keyword will be returned in the search results page as a link.

Whether the search returns any matches or not, you have the option to do 'Detail Search'. This is displayed below the search results. The 'Detail Search' has an input field where the user can enter what they are searching on.

Downloading an Attachment

Choosing to download an attachment on this website, will generate a dialogue box which informs you of the file name, file type, file size and estimated download time using a modem. Most attachments are in Adobe PDF format.

If you require any further information or assistance, please use the Contact Us page or email cms.admin@vifm.org.
